HCPC joins health and care regulators to publish 2024 whistleblowing report

The HCPC, in collaboration with eight other professional health and care regulators, has published the latest Whistleblowing disclosures report for 2024.

This report explores the ethical experiences of practitioners working in health and social care professions and was commissioned by the Authority from Professor Deborah Bowman.

We have revised our standards for prescribing

The Health and Care Professions Council has recently revised our standards for prescribing, following a public consultation. The revised standards took effect on 1 September 2019.

Call-out for working group members following consultation closure

Update on COVID-19 Temporary Register

The HCPC has been informed by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) that our COVID-19 Temporary Register must close on the 31st March 2024

Extension of the COVID-19 Temporary Register

On Thursday 22 September, government announced that the healthcare professions temporary registers, including the HCPC COVID-19 Temporary Register, will remain open for a further two years.
